Dr. Halec Serlin is a dedicated and compassionate dentist who is passionate about providing exceptional dental care and building lasting relationships with his patients. A native of Buffalo Grove, Dr. Serlin developed an early interest in the sciences and a deep appreciation for helping others. He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (UIUC), where he focused on the biological sciences and developed a strong foundation for his future dental education.

Dr. Serlin went on to earn his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Marquette University School of Dentistry, where he refined his clinical skills and deepened his commitment to patient-centered care. Now residing in Highland Park, Dr. Serlin is thrilled to be a part of the dental team and is eager to contribute his knowledge, enthusiasm, and compassion to the practice. He looks forward to working closely with and being mentored by Dr. Sommerfeld, whose leadership and experience he greatly admires.

Outside of the office, Dr. Serlin enjoys a wide range of interests that reflect his creative and curious nature. He loves playing guitar, listening to music, traveling to new destinations, and spending quiet moments reading. Dr. Serlin is excited to continue growing both personally and professionally as he provides quality, patient-focused care to the community.
